Psychologist in Doctoral Training and Recovery Coach
 Dina has firsthand experience of the process of recovery and therapeutic processes and through this has the passion, skills and knowledge for helping and inspiring others.
Dina is a co-manager and trustee for a charity which helps people and families struggling with addictions and has ten years of experience working with addiction, depression and other mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties and low self-esteem.
Following her own path in recovery, Dina has since completed a BSc in Psychology and has been working in the private sector with various mental health issues, her speciality being addiction. She is currently studying as a psychologist in Doctoral training and being trained in evidence-based psychological treatments such as Person-centred, CBT and Psychodynamic approaches.
She has worked closely with psychiatrists in the field of ADHD, which is often co-morbid with addiction, and has developed skills and training on how to coach and provide therapeutic and behaviour techniques for this condition.
She is trained in providing QB checks - a computer based performance test assessment tool which measures ADHD-like symptoms such as hyperactivity, impulsivity and inattention/distractibility.
Dina has experience working with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds, having lived in Italy where she worked with young people and children rehabilitating from challenging issues. Dina uses these experiences to empathise and support others to be able to reach their goals and lead a fulfilling life.
